Let's Play Thief FMs with Random_Taffer

Hey guys.

Because I really enjoy watching Let's Plays, I figured it might be kinda fun to start recording my own. I'm going to be playing through (hopefully) every FM eventually and will have it up on my youtube channel. I can only hope to stand in the shadow of great LPers like Fen, but I'll give it a shot.

A note about my play style:
I'm not really a ghoster, but I do prefer to leave people conscious unless it's extremely inconvenient. Also, I don't like quickloading every time I get caught. Half the fun of Thief for me is successfully outrunning and hiding from guards.

Anywho, sit back and enjoy if you like this sort of thing.

I may reupload part 2... YT made a suggestion and I hit "yes, fix it!" and I'm not sure how to change it.
Seems like they may have taffed up the brightness.

This was fun to watch dude, Let's Plays are some of my favorite time-wasting guilty pleasures. Fen is great but Thief needed more of the LP love.

And you make an interesting point in the (first, I think?) video about running from guards being the fun part. I always just quickload when I'm caught...have I been experiencing only HALF the fun all these years? :confused: GAH, THE SELF DOUBT.

That was fun, Rob. You did a nice job with it. Well done! Looking forward to more. And good choice for a first mission. I really like this mission. It's one of my favorites; short and very sweet.

You're off to a great start! :thumb: You've chosen three excellent FMs. It's fun to experience the tension of having to deal with being caught, too. (Though it would give me indigestion to play that way myself. I guess it's more of a spectator sport...)

I was going to say something about being able to hear your mouse clicks during Off the Record; I kept registering them as security camera first-alert noises and panicking. But then the same thing during TicP1:CitD sounded more like background rain patter. I guess it all depends on atmosphere. :)
