I'm really tempted as I like your LPs very much. But I haven't played the game yet. On the other hand, with my lack of memory I might have forgotten everything by the time I do get around to playing. Maybe I'll just watch the first half hour.

That's what I planned on doing, but I've watch the first 6 videos now. :o

I just stumbled on your LPs by coincidence. I like them. So far I have played the videos for Ominous Bequest Gold and Sturmdrang Peak, both of which I beta tested, which makes for an interesting comparison.
I like your commentary and play style. You play much faster than I do, so you can miss a few things the first time around, but the fast pace keeps it entertaining. I wanted to shout at you when you ran past Pavid's office a few times in Sturmdrang Peak. :)
Comparing your work with Fen's, you are happy to take damage and let the AIs chase you. You reload by the menu when you have to, which is seldom. This style is fun to watch. I should try it more often. Anyway, since I can observe the reloads, the game play is smooth. Fen reloads with the F keys quite often, so the frequent reloads just appear. This is harder to follow.
Fen uses color correction, presumably with a video editor. I like to keep my monitor fairly dark for everyday viewing and to raise gamma in Thief to compensate. The upshot of this is that I can play Fen's videos with no color correction, but to play Ominous Bequest Gold and Sturmdrang Peak I needed to correct the gamma of my display. I can do this by starting Thief 2, taking advantage of its internal gamma settings, or I can set a custom color profile in the old Nvidia control panel.
Keep up the good work, Rob.

Thanks, Peter! Glad you're enjoying these. Yes, I want to shout at myself when I watch some of them too.
Especially if I get talking. Then I tend to miss even more.
