Hi
I was wondering if there was a way to skip levels on the pc version. I am now at the cradle, and really don't want to play through it. One time was enough! Any hints would be apreciated. If there is no way, i'll download that stickied saved game, but it would be nice to keep mine. Thanks for reading.

You have to use someone else's savegame. Look at MrWynd's savegames at the top of the forum.

If you dont want to use someone else's saves, do several things.
1. Set difficulty to easy
2. Turn up gamma a bit
3. Turn down volume control
4. Try using this guide: (

I remember that the first time I went through that I was qucik saving every 5 seconds :)
if you play it on easy then there aren't more than 5 (or maybe 6) undead in the whole cradle (not counting the staff, but those are like simple guards, they don't really scare you). and if you have enough flash bombs (max is 5 from what I remember; haven't played thief 3 for over an year) and a couple of fire arrows then it's fairly wasy to go through. after all, nothing except the 5 (6) undead can harm you.:)

actually its still 8 (or 9, not sure) undead that patrol on easy, seeing as they are a major part of the storyline of the cradle's past, just they're easier to deal with. And flashbomb limit is 20, fire arrow limit is 12 (not sure) and holy water limit is 5

well, maybe your right. like I said, I haven't played thief ds for a very long time but I remember the cradle like it was yesterday.
8 undead? no way... ah whatever:cool:

as I recall some of them are in out of the way places... and one or two of them have incredibly long patrol paths. All I knows is that using an expert-level guide I found all undead bar one.
