I was already "smelling" the HTTP/HTTPS issue. A few findings of my experiments do not exactly fit in, though. Most notably, a local copy of the HTML page containing the link to Bafford's Paradise Taffer's Paradise:cheeky: does still contain a http://... link to "Down in the Old Vault", but clicking on that does work with the local copy, yet it does not with the same page on the internet. Maybe Chrome has hiccups not because of the link prefix, but rather when it navigates from a secure website (HTTPS'ed TTLG.COM, in this case) to a non-secure one (Taffer's Paradise) - who knows.
Still, I think people are on the right track here. Try changing the links, then again do a thorough testing with popular browsers, and with a bit of luck, no further issues crop up. If not, then you at least know that you're not done yet, and can go back to happy debugging again.:ebil:

The download link for "Down in the Old Vault" in the "City" section of the "Mission by Type" thread on TTLG.COM still doesn't work with Chrome. If that's because fortuni has not yet completed his work, then it's okay. If, however, Lord Soth' efforts should already have changed this, then Chrome again refuses to cooperate, and shows us a raised middle finger.
EDIT: ... oh, and thank you all very much from me as well, for trying to keep downloads for Thief missions operational on not-so-easy conditions!:thumb:

In Chrome, Darkfate and Southquarter both gave me a warning and ultimately failed:

Okay I've officially started work on my initial idea. I got Discord nitro & made a "fan-community" for the game LOL. Hopefully if Discord admins see my group with 50gb of data on it this make it look more legit.

Sadly it seems Discord limits concurrent uploads to around 6ish, so I need to manually upload them, wait, then upload the next one. Ugh. But progress has

I hate GoogleI saw a few weeks ago a notification on my Gdrive that a security update will be applied onto some of the files in my GDrive, google being Google doesn't specify what that security update entails, but this is what they mean(

Yep Google is not going to allow automatic d/l's or even the ability to read pdf's without you first sending a request to the owner of that file and then having to wait for permission to be granted
And I've got 1000's of files in my GDrive, all my Lootlists, all Ricebug's walks, fixed missions etc, this is going to cause chaos.
Worse I am now going to have to go through the whole of the new MbyT thread AGAIN to find every GDrive link and change those d/l links again, IF I can find a working link that is.
So new MbyT thread is not going to be launched this weekend, not even next weekend, maybe not until the end of next month (or next year if Google has their way)

Well done sounds like an excellent idea, but I do have a concern about uploading everything from Thief Mission and that mega file. Many a mission has been updated since Thief missions went into hibernation and so Thief missions often only host the v_1 or v_2, but with the advent of Newdark and some authors going back to their earlier works many years later you'll find Thief missions often is seriously out of date with some of their files.
Of the top of my head I can think of Strife Campaign, all of Cardia missions, Bathory campaign, Cataclysmic Revelations, but there are many many more.
