Adding Sins of a Solar Empire and Arma2 to my list. :)
Also might want to get Dead Space and Wolfenstein eventually. Already played ME, CoC and Burnout Paradise.

This. Though you'll probably want to hack the game to increase the player speed, because there's a bug with it being so slow as to make the game unwinnable by default on certain systems. (So perhaps it isn't the epitome of a good PC port.)
I must play it again with player speed set to +10%. I don't generally hold with "cheating", but since it's actually a bug... and that should also make the whole game more fun, since the main character
crawled.

What makes you say that? I try to think of reasons to get one besides LBP, MGS4, and the God of War repack, but I just can't.
Well, Last Guardian, GoW3, Heavy Rain f.e. They promise to be fantastic.

There's a lot of stuff.
You gotta play the s.t.a.l.k.e.r. games first. The Witcher, Fallout 3, Risen...a lotta choices. But start with the newer stuff. -1 vote for torchlight btw, it's a time waster, play it if you don't care. I felt stupid sitting there grinding.

Welcome back to the fold, Alch.
Myself, I've always been both a PC and console gamer. Never regretted it, even if my wallet does tend to suffer from time to time...bleh.

Aside from stuff that's already out, like 242 says, GoW and Heavy Rain are going to be some of the big hitters. The Last Guardian too, if it comes out in 2010. And then of course there's GT5. And MAG at some point.

MAG is pretty shit, definitely not worth playing.

Yeah? I didn't try the beta out even though I got a key. Didn't have the time. What's up with it?

The pc will always end up completely owning the consoles technically. I kinda stopped playing pc for a lack of real pc-games, only play strategy titles on it, well the mac, windows isn't an option if you need it for your work it's too slow for that. Don't really care about graphics, still can't say goodbye to my good old beovision, friend offered me a HD-ready for free and I declined, don't have room for it.
