The only people who lose here is a publisher who chose to take a risk on an independent developer and is getting burned for it - and all of the other and future independent developers they or anyone else paying attention will not trust because of this.
That is the true crime of this - not stealing screenshots from games. That's funny. What is could do to indie developers looking for a chance is not.

You're right there, and that worries me - but doesn't the publisher deal with mostly indie games? If people took a look around their site they'd understand that this was just a one in a million sort of thing. The rest of the stuff they have on there looks quite good (and not plagiarized).

This is funny, and yet is also rather sickening. Makes me wanna blackjack em until they couldn't program a MAC. If they stole their programming, as well, I will personally beat their asses. Laziness is okay in certain situations (re: middleware, source examples, etc), but this is beyond lazy. This is in fact an INSULT to lazy people worldwide. If I weren't so lazy, I'd beat the crap outta them for ... being lazy assholes. :thumb:

From what I gathered, half of the code was pretty much donated by the kind helpful souls at the engine's forums.
RavynousHunter on 16/6/2008 at 18:39
Wow, I feel for those who donated...
"You know we just donated to a blatant plagiarist, right?"
"What?!"
"Yeah, bunch of people caught the hell out of them, many companies are considering a lawsuit."
"Son of a bitch. Makes me regret being such a nice guy..."
"Yeah... Makes ya just a bit more bitter, don't it?"
"Yeah..."

Ahaha, you can't escape from what you've said on the internet.
Anyone got news of where these guys are? I'd love to see Bovis' expression when he realised that the internet just collectively said "wut?!"

They're the P.Diddy's of gaming. Brilliant.
Umm, not exactly.
While I'm not a fan of sampling, P Diddy does have to pay royalties to actually release and sell albums with samples.
Vanilla Ice on the other hand....
Who knows, maybe these guys will see their mistake and become metal heads :) COOL!
