Walkthrough? This is getting really outrageous. How far are those morons willing to go...? Just curious.

As far as their idiocy will take them. And seeing the trends goin on today, idiocy is quite normal, and profitable, no less. Just look at EA.
eagle17 on 19/6/2008 at 10:09
True. EA is a good example, if you know Medal of Honor - Airborne, you have a perfect example of such comercial trash.

Well, I was more referring to post-Renaissance UO, as I've yet to play MoH : Airborne. Not to mention the EA Sports trash. If I ever get into gaming, I swear to myself that I would rather commit seppuku than work for EA... Them and Blizzard. I have a moral thing against Blizzard.

You don't know what a "walkthrough" is, do you?

And yet...the picture in your profile is from World of Warcraft.

Quite the contrary, I do know what walkthrough is and I'm merely implying that releasing a walkthrough for this "game" is an insult. It proves that those developers are so stupid that they think people would want to "walk through" the entire game. AFTER their little secret was "revealed."

That's possible (though I have a hard time believing it) but even so, what about everyone else involved? Did the publishers not LOOK at the game? Did no one playtest it? It can't be *that* easy to get a publisher to sell your indie game, can it?

Publishers are required to know about the game industry...
But recognising some backgrounds ?
Publishers don´t spend their days playing Oblivion.
And I can´t imagine serious publishers looking at thousands of fonts, artworks, midi files, textures and models to find any problem. They´re not the police, they just want to see a sellable product and pack it for money.
