The game really speaks for itself. I was immediately impressed. You should try it.

Damnit! I've been waiting on this game since I first saw that old videoclip years and years ago, and now it's out on the one console I don't own and don't have any intentions on buying. Life is pretty fucking cruel sometimes.

Yeah, that kinda sucks. Hopefully it will be out on PC at some point. I don't mind waiting a while longer, and it sounded like it was one of those temporary exclusivity deals.

Is it good enough to buy XBox 360 for?

Played it for about 2-3 hours today, shouldn't be far from the end, but I'm stuck at the part where you first "zipline" across a gap, drop onto a roof with a smoking chimney(narrowly avoiding some spikes on a pole), and then you skid down the side of the roof to your death. :(
edit: finished it. Yeah, that was short and sweet and not quite like anything else I've played. Also, if there was some sort of "lighting"-award for games this one should win it. :)

No, I wouldn't go that far. To be honest, I don't get much use out of my Xbox360 these days.

I don't get much use out of my Xbox 360, and I haven't even bought it yet.

aaaaaand I finished it a second time. Takes about an hour and a half if you know what you're doing. I've found 3 "hidden area" achievements so far.
The animation is great, I love how the protagonist raises his arms in preparation for grabbing on to a ledge, or how he readjusts his grip on objects he's pulling if something causes them to wobble. Makes is all very fluid. And the sound is great. None of the gameplay mechanics overstay their welcome, except possibly for the "brainslug". The pacing is a bit odd though, all the scariest parts are at the beginning of the game.
I want more.

I liked the way that
the spider is a recurring enemy, coming back when you thought you'd dealt with him, and then finishing him off once and for all by removing his one final leg and using his body as a plug to fill a gap. The subtle pulsing sound coming from the spider's body was also incredibly ominous.
Brutal.
Henke, I got stuck on the zipline too - at the bit when you disembark and have to figure out what next. It took my about 20 minutes and many deaths to figure it out, and I was on the verge of giving up.

Yeah, that puzzle sucked. Introducing a new gameplay element for that the player is supposed to figure out while falling to his death was a bad design decision. Luckily that's the only point in the game where it feels like the developers dropped the ball.
Have you found all the hidden eggs yet? I've found all but 2 of the achievement eggs and I've found 2 or 3 of the extra-secret no-achievement eggs, including (
