Accidentally I put the wrong path (fam/...) on some TextRepl(s) and now I got the 'Locked Resource'-error. Is there a simple way to find out which objects are wrong instead of clicking on every >2000 objects?

Generate report. This should tell you what objects are effected. When I have an extra 20 sheets of printing paper and extra black ink, I just print it out. It makes the report much easier to organize and read.

What am I looking for?
I created a test map using the wrong texture path on an object. There's nothing about that in the report.

You will still look at all the objects,as their properties are in the report. If you have locked resource, it will tell you. Printing would allow a much more organized way of looking for it, otherwise, it is a jumbled messed trying to read line after line.

I'm not printing anything at all, since I have notepad and a search function ;)
But I can't find anything. Give me a catch-word please.

Pm me with a link to it, and I will see if I can find a reference to it. I thought NewDark did away with locked resources?

Would searching for the incorrect path you assigned be entirely too crazy a suggestion?

I'm still getting over that someone used TextRepl on over 2000 objects! That's amazing.

I do it that way too, but it's more like doing it once and copying the object everytime I need it again.
I was such a newb though, I used a texture-replaceable secret door as the base object for wooden posts and such, but then I had hundreds of objects that acted like doors when I frobbed them. So I replaced them all one-by-one with a copy of a door that I first made un-frobbable, but then I found out I was still stuck with hundreds of objects that sounded like metal when interacted with. So I set to replacing them all again one-by-one. :laff: It does help to have a good object archetype to fall back on.
