I have the following problem:
I log in to the forum, and when I try to post a message or private message, I get the message "I'm not logged in."
Why is this happening?
And a second question, please.
Where can I see if my private message has been sent? I always only find the inbox.

I have the same problem on Firefox if I forget to accept a login cookie by checking the "Remember Me?" box when logging in. The login will time out due to inactivity while typing the post.
Once logged in, open your Settings page by clicking the link in the top right corner of the window. In the My Messages pane on the left, you should see your Inbox and Sent Items folders. Then go down into General Settings, find "Sent Private Messages" under Private Messaging, and make sure you've selected the option to save sent messages.
Welcome back!

Oh yeah the pesky "remember me" tick in the box must be checked.

On a side note about logins, I have been getting an "are you human" test before the TTLG site opens. It happens about half the time and it's just one click, not a CAPTCHA marathon.
Anybody else?

I know Al added some system to help us from being overrun by bots.
So I imagine it's part of that.
If you look at the bottom of any forum at the "Users Browsing this Forum" number, or the ratio of guests to members, and then realize that most if not all of the guests are bots, then you can appreciate the problem & why we need things like that.

Well we all have a human being problem now and then. It's less a glitch than a design flaw.
Also if you find a problem being human then welcome to the race. And if you are a bot then stop ruining my internet.

I'll avoid posting any problems here in the future.
I hope you feel better then.
