Okay, with the antivirus disabled, I haven't yet been able to reproduce the issue, so there seems to be some setting there that isn't agreeing with ttlg. I'll check that again.

Thanks - if you do still get the problem with the antivirus disabled can you double-check you have the right time and date set on your computer?

And now I've enabled it again, so I should soon be logged out if that was the problem.

I don't know what's going on: What used to be very easy to reproduce is not happening at all now.

Time and date are correct.

Sounds like business as usual for looking at these problems! If it's been happening for a couple of weeks then it'll probably come back - if you can try disabling the antivirus if / when it does and check if that appears to be related that'll be helpful. No settings changes have been made on the server side since the start of this thread so it does sound like it's something local, possibly some caching done by your anti-virus software when scanning web pages?

It's been happening for longer than that. I don't remember for how long, but at least a year.
I'll get back to this when I've tested more stuff.

Test 3.

Still testing: the only thing I can confirm right now is that it's happening at random (or is caused by a very specific order of things, an order I haven't been able to determine): things that I thought was causing it, don't next time, and things that I thought wasn't, do next time, then suddenly no issues at all for a while, and then issues again. It seems that I cannot cause it myself by doing anything specific.
Could it be some local timeout setting causing it (in that case a timeout of just a couple of minutes)?
I have checked my router settings, checked antivirus/firewall settings, updated the router firmware, but haven't found anything. After that I tried again (with antivirus enabled), and got the issue once. I also tried from my phone, while still being connected to my router, and got the issue once after clicking around, which might suggest that something is up with my router, but I had the issue also with my previous router (I recently got a new one), so unless they both have the same fault, that might not be it either.
I'm currently performing more tests, so maybe something will show up, but I'm tempted to just let things be: I mean, I can still post.
Edit:
I tried again from my phone (via Chrome), but this time while disconnected from my router, and got the issue once, which suggests that there is some fault common to both my PC and my phone, or something with my internet connection or my ISP or, however unlikely, just internet in general?
Maybe Swedish internet is borked relative to where your servers are... :laff:
Edit 2:
Internet: Oh hello, dear Customer, we have found the issue now and your country is borked.
Customer: O-kay, how do I solve it?
Internet: You can't, our analysis shows that you are totally borked.
