Looking for a certain type of game, Help needed... - by WarMasterXX

Here's what I'm looking for:
-An RPG (NOT turn-based)
-3rd Person (can also be 1st person, but I mainly want the other)
-It must be PURE medieval
-You control the character like in a 1st person shooter (Not just with the mouse like in Diablo, but with WSAD, Spacebar to jump, mouse to attack, etc.)
-Simple, but challenging, combat
-And most of all, a long replay value
Right now, the game that matches these specifications the most is Gothic 3. But there are two major problems I have with that game:
-Its EXTREMELY long loading times
-Its ridiculously high system requirements
Thief is a good game as well, but the problem with that one is that it's not pure medieval.
Oh and one more thing: It cannot be a game like World of Warcraft where you have to pay for every minute you play. I don't have the kind of money for that.
So if you can help me find a game that meets the specifications I'm looking for, then it would be greatly appreciated.

The only game I can think of is Savage 2, and I'm not saying that as a fanboy. Your mention of "World of Warcraft" also brought it to mind lol

Mutually exclusive. If you think Gothic 3 is "pure medieval", you are in dire need of a history lesson.

Neverwinter Nights 1/2? The Witcher? Morrowind? Oblivion? Probably about 8000 more?

Well all the Gothic games are great (sure goblins and orcs don't exactly make a pure medieval game, but... ), but I guess you've played the first two games too and not just the third (if you haven't you should).
I'd say Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, but it's not pure medieval and... I don't know about replay value (only played it twice because... well meh... )

I know it's a somewhat silly question, but did you play the two previous parts?

Yes I did.
I was looking into Morrowind and Oblivion as well, but haven't tried them yet. Will download the demos now.
And I'll also see what Savage has to offer...
EDIT:
Damn, there's no demos for Morrowind and Oblivion. I'll just have to look at screenshots and get enough money to buy the two...
