The graphics were pretty much unequaled on the Amiga. Check out screens of Gods and The Chaos Engine. Cadaver is beautiful but you know that.

I think that might be the number of selectable colors in the palette. I'm pretty sure the earlier revs of the machine couldn't go as high as 256 color VGA back then, and might even have been limited to 16 colors like the ST was back in the very early 90's.
I've seen screenshots of Monkey Island running on the Amiga, and it looks far more similar to the ST version than it does the PC.
