Savar is an author who released major updates of previous missions. I recently completed v2.0 (November 10, 2008) and v3.0 (August 18, 2010) of the Keeper. Comparing differences between versions is interesting: Entire rooms are added or deleted, AI patrol new routes, objects are placed in different locations, objectives are changed, and so on.
I am interested in seeing what the v1.x versions were like. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be available at any of the FM download sites anymore. Does anyone still have a copy?

You could also PM Savar, English is not his first language of course but he'll understand your message if you keep in simple.
And if you do find a copy, let me have it as well please.

I suspect that v2 is just v1.x with language updates.

Fixed bugs:
- disappearing loot is deleted
- the hole with zombie is closed till the moment player gets the glovers
- boxes used for climbing are unbreakable now
- only one way to the pagan artefact (climbing on boxes) left free, other ways are blocked
- bugs in both shops are fixed
- lots of invisible walls are added
- some secrets with arrows are moved to better places
- some NPC's ways are improved
- some doors, that covers "ways to nowhere", replaced with mesh
- mistakes in texts are fixed
Thanks Krenim for Italian translation!
Thanks Beleg for German translation!
Tiens has fixed the bugs that plagued the original release. Thanks again, Tiens!
I am especially interested in the original paths to get to the pagan artifact and the areas without invisible walls. I already messaged Savar directly last month, but did not yet get a reply. I hope Savar is well.

Stats:* Master Thief difficulty (only one available)
* 58 minutes
* 94% loot
* 0 hints needed (because I was already familiar with v2.0 and v3.0 of the mission)
Differences of v1.2 to v2.0:* There is no metal grill in the ceiling shaft of the archway that leads to Stonemarket gate.
* Getting to the pagan artifact via the sloped roofs from the the merchant's stand felt a little easier in v1.2 than in v2.0. Maybe v2.0 has some invisible walls that were supposed to block off the climb over the sloped roofs? This (
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=123913&p=1787942&viewfull=1#post1787942) changelog entry in v2.0 seems to suggest that: "only one way to the pagan artefact (climbing on boxes) left free, other ways are blocked". I was unable to get to the pagan artifact by stacking boxes and therefore fell back to the awkward sloped roof climb in both v1.2 and v2.0.
* The climb up near the well at the broken fence is easier in v1.2 because no invisible walls are in the way. Unfortunately, this also means you can get out of bounds in v1.2.
* The special loot item "Dashy Guard's Plonk" can be sold to Heartless Perry. That isn't possible in v2.0 anymore.
* The dead guard in the shaft leading down to the medallion floats in midair. This bug was resolved in v2.0.
Differences of v1.2 and v2.0 to v3.0:* Just one difficulty level ("Master Thief").
* The pub near the starting location is not built yet.
* The secret area in the house where you find
the note to Robert is not built yet.
* The interior of Saint Ludovicus Chapel is not built yet.
* The morgue in Gloomy Lane is not built yet.
* The pagan artifact is in a different location.
* The area behind the pagan sitting on a chair on a roof in Gloomy Lane is not built yet.
* Both
the murderer's dagger and Robert's key are hidden
up on the rafters in the house next to the well.
* The Keeper Enforcer's hideout has a backdoor to Gloomy Lane that was removed in v3.0.
* The end location is the same as the starting location.
Bugs in v1.2 and v2.0, but not in v3.0:* The pagan on the rooftop in Gloomy Lane falls to his death when he starts searching for you.
* It is difficult to trigger the last objective to end the mission.
Here is how I rank the three versions of The Keeper that I played:* v3.0 Was extended with new areas, has most issues fixed, and was improved in a potentialy frustrating part where you must climb a sloped roof or stack boxes to get to a pagan artifact.
* v1.2 Has some issues, but two climbing parts are more doable than in v2.0.
* v2.0 Fixes some issues from v1.2, but introduces new problems with invisible walls and a nonsensical trigger where a metal grill in shaft opens after you buy climbing gloves.
