I'll bet you're right, fibanocci, though I can't go back and look at savegames, as they are on an older machine that is currently ... uh ... indisposed. So, I guess I'll start it from scratch on this one. If what is left of my mind has managed to separate the EM levels into separate missions, it must be time to play it again anyway.
And SinisterShadow, I wish I HAD been able to play Golden Book of Prophecies. I bought a newer machine a couple of years back so I could play T3 (how obsessed is that?) and have yet to figure out getting T1 to run on it.
I downloaded it this summer, though. Cuz hope springs eternal...

I still haven't re-played Rowenas Curse...I'm still thinking it may be Order of the Vine....I know it is a Classic one...maybe even pre Cheep Missions. Back when The Circle was still giving out Bronze,Silver and Gold Hammers and as far as I knew the only place to download missions at the time.

Thanks for the hope..I used to love my Job but the owner hired a new boss and he is a real jerk. Nothing is good enough for him. There is 2 kids working there who mess around all day and he treats them like his own. He even hugs and tickles them. Maybe he's a MANBLA sort of guy. It just sucks to bust my butt all day and get riticuled while he covers for two guys who spend the whole day clowning around. Text messaging, laughing..it sounds like a high school gym class when they are together. I hate to do it but I may just ask to get laid off so I can get another job but I know I won't make nearly as much money. I think he wants to get rid of me and a few other guys anyhow so he can hire a few guys from where he used to work which closed down. I could go over his head and complain to the owner but it just micht backfire on me and make things worse. I have tried to talk to him (the jerk) but he just rebuffs everything I say and I get noware. My BP has skyrocked since he started and my Dr is quite worried about me. So am I. I left about a year and a half ago for another job because things were very slow but the department I ran went to crap and they asked me to come back and offered me more money so I came back then they hired the antichrist about 2 months ago. I never would have come back had I know about this guy.
I'm very depressed. :( I want to crush his skull and hate feeling that way. I never would but honestly he could float off into space and I would be very happy about it. I am very mellow and have never felt such hostility at someone.
I think I just need to get another job.

Sounds horrendous. Count to a hundred, lots of deep breaths and smile at them. If people are deliberately trying to wind you up, they really don't like it when you smile.
The mysterious missing fm. Would there be any clue in the objectives do you think ie was rescuing someone an original objective?

I clearly recall that "The Order of the Vine" did not involve saving a woman, it involved stealing an artifact. Maybe Nightwalker can do a text search of her vast library of FM notes to help identify this mystery mission.

I believe many of NW's notes are handwritten notes in binders, not text files - but I could be wrong. :D
LLine - if you decide to quit over it, I would go over to the owner first. Then if it backfires, well you were planning to quit anyway, right? Unless this idiot is the owner's nephew or something, I can't imagine any business owner not caring when you tell him/her how this guy and his "buddies" goof off all day and waste business money. Clearly the owner values you since you were begged to come back and given more money. Worth considering IMHO.
