I'm afraid the description just doesn't ring any bells.
I don't meant to be unsympathetic to Lighningline's job problems (which sound pretty bad), but this thread is veering off the topic of FMs so please get it back on track.

Thanks all. I playes Rowenas Curse and that wasn't the one either.
On a personal note I spoke to the owner. I was so visably shaken he sent me home and said he'd look into it and to call him later. I went to my Dr and my BP was 160/111. So I gotta go back. To the Dr that is.
Well thats it. Keep the mission memories commin if you have any. And I know the moderators try to keep us on the fan mission topics but I do not think they mind a little off topic support once in awhile.

Edit: When did Cheep missions start ? I am sure I got the mission when the Circle was the only place to download missions. It was before I even knew about this forum so that would be pre December 2001 and there was only about 10 pages of missions, I think it is 40+ now. That should aliminate about 500 missions. Like I said, I rescue a girl and the way down was circuler/spiral like. God, I wish I remembered more. I just know how the mission made me feel and it was good. :) Very atmospheric.

But was rescuing the woman an original objective? Can you remember?
Yandros on 7/2/2008 at 15:07
Do you remember if it was a T1G or T2 mission? That will help narrow things down along with it being 5+ years old.

I am sure Garrett loves roaming through cult ridden dungeons. Helps him relax. Well of course it was. Why would I be there. LOL...:joke:
And from the textures and the mood I remember it must have been T1 which I don't have installed. It was hard enough getting it to work on a AMD64 3200+ with XP. Now I have a E6850 DC and XP and havent the ambition. Maybe I will give it a try today.
Its done..plays fine. Got the Grey...darkhooks thing and the 1.33.patch and the convict.osm. Strange thing. I never needed to use the Duel Core hot fix, as a matter a fact it wouldn't work so I went back to the origional 1.33 patched exe and all is well. So I am on my way over to the circle and read through the T1 missions..it's only 4 pages. Thanks again all and I am still open to any ideas.

Aha! Progress - I'll trawl through the objectives in the zips of any I've got saved. Be back if I find anything. :)

Well I'm trying "Cult of Ressurection" now. I guess it is no biggie. There is lots of good classic missions for me to play. Maybe I will stumble upon it someday. I may have lots of free time soon. I can't believe the creator of this mission makes Garrett start out without a BJ or a Sword. I have to find a sword but there seems to be a slew of enemies on the way. I guess I will do a search for a thread about "Cult of Res..."
Yandros on 7/2/2008 at 20:05
I haven't played that one in many years, but it's by Sledge and is the prequel to Inverted Manse, so it must be really good, right?
R Soul on 7/2/2008 at 20:27
Part of me is saying "don't be so obsessive" but the obsessive part of me won't let this go, but will compromise by keeping it short:
CotR is not a prequel. 'Prequel' implies it was made after TIV, which it wasn't. They were both very good missions though.
Shadak on 7/2/2008 at 23:57
Prequel most often means what you say R but it can also loosely mean how Yandros used it (according to "the dictionary" at least).
And I find myself also wracking my brain wondering what mission this thread must be about!
