You're right R, I misused that word in its commonly understood meaning.
CotR is the mission whose sequel is Inverted Manse. :thumb:

Well so far, judging by the goals.str, it isn't:
Burgomaster, Curse of the Ancients, Gauntlet, HGS- Haunted Church, Sepulchre of the Sinistral, Turning the Tables, Secret Way, Shadow of Doubt, Saving Private RyeAnne (which sounded hopeful- except he's a bloke), Shunned- Fistral's Story, Returning A Favour. I expect you all knew it wasn't those anyway.
And that's as far as I've got. Think I'm becoming obsessive too. :)

You never know..it may very well be an added objective. Well since 2001 every Jan 1st or there-about I clean my HD of thief missions past...as long as the folder is up to 600mb or better. I have 7 CDs neatly marked 2001, 2002, 2003 and so on full of thiefieness. I think I am going to start with 2001 and just play them all again....well..a lot of them There are some missions I just do not want to do again.
Like Elevator mission 1..it was a good mission and I had a real sense of accomplishment once completed but I don't want to put myself through that again. :p 2X was enough. If you want a real challenge play that ! And I played on Normal. Metal floors..no weapon to start. Actually I herd once, I forgot who said it but in JISs missions you are a ninja. Not garrett. Hmnnn???
I know someday someone will be in a gloomy dungeon type place going round to the bottom of a walkway and see that girl laying on the slab/alter and remember this thread and come get me. I know it. :thumb:
And nicki..I am very greatfull for your efforts. You have gone way above and beyond. And if you dont mind or even enjoy it, by all means "keep-er-goin!"
Holy crap !! I just emptied a folder from a disc entitled December 2001 and you know how many missions I had collected up to that date ? 129 !! Thief 2 was barely out a year. It got me thinking. There may very well be way over 700 missions. Some may be out of circulation. Like John Ds missions. He must have made 10 of em. What others have befallen the same fate ??

It's unlikely that any other missions are missing. The Keep has tried to be very thorough lately in having them all (except for old versions), and other sites too. John D's missions are a special case, like no other I've heard of.

Why would he do that anyhow. It's like giving a bunch of people a great gift then taking it back.
Unless he's depressed or something and wants to erase his exsistance. It may be a cry for help/support or something. He made some great stuff. I hope he's OK.

He's fine, he just wanted his missions pulled for reasons that mystify the rest of us.

I think that I know which mission is the one you are searching! "Under Templehill". :D

I'll check it out...thanks me Lady :)

I thought John D.'s reason was explained well-enough. Unless it's a lie or misinformation on somebody's part, he's tweaking his games to make them better. The full truth and his methods are indeed a mystery. Am I way off?:p

I believe it was mentioned that somebody else was taking his missions and updating them.
As for "Under Templehill" it could be that mission, I guess but the girl isn't on an altar, she's locked in a cell so it doesn't quite fit.
