I remember reading a description of some brilliant taffer climbing the roof of the tower in Life of the Party. Can anyone point me there?
Also, does anyone that might have missed this thread in the past have any more information on engine exploits etc.?

One of my favorites. No matter how far you fall if you land on a ladder you're good also if you land "into a mantle" same thing.

I remember reading a different one. It was on a page like Azal's but this will do fine.
Looking at Azal's thief 2 climbing... I thought I discovered a few lines myself but apparently Azal has been doing it for years, perhaps a bit differently but still. I'd love to chat with the man.
Luthien aswell. Both of them are adept at staircasing, a technique I've started using little more than a year ago in "Of Ill Rapture" T2X mission.
@SlyFoxx Love that myself. I enjoy breaking falls with objects aswell. Doesn't work on infinite scale but i can save you from loss of life or making noise.
To add some of my own, which i bet were known far before i joined the community.
Circle jumping - Perhaps I'm imagining it but it seems to work for me. Quake technique works for me to make jumps even longer. (Google quake circle jump for more info)
Bunny/strafe jumping - I've proved to myself this works in thief but I'm sure of it only on slanted floor. I've been able to jump on walls unreachable otherwise with this technique. It's very difficulty tho, much much harder than in quake. (Once again google quake strafe jumping)
Lean-Jump-Mantle - Found this to work on "A King's Story" where i was able to mantle on the ledge above me which was completely above me (larger than the ledge i was standing one, as a roof over the first ledge i guess) by leaning first, then jumping while turning to get a successful mantle.
Additional question. Do objects make more noise if they are dropped from higher altitude. I've been experimenting with dropping keys that cause busts on certain places. I tried tropping a small object first, dropping the key over it and then taking the first object. So far with no success but I'm still experimenting.

There are some fan missions where one will need some of the "exploits" - at least with OldDark. In NewDark, it's easier anyway (but it's not really an expoit, it's just known gameplay).

Grab a dead or unconscious body and jump off of a high tower/cliff/etc. Just before you land, drop the body and you won't suffer any damage. Timing is a bit tricky, but it's fairly easy to pull off.
