I should really play Oni through at some point. I remember it had one of the best melee combat systems I've seen, but the level design became tedious as hell very quickly.

Oni is great. One of the few games where I mainly eschewed gun usage in order to get into some juicy melee. Refreshingly hard too.

Just finished The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword the other day, so it's pretty fresh in my mind. I would highly reccommend giving it a try :)
