Looking for testers (and ideally a Garrett impersonator for a short briefing video) - by trefoilknot

Hi all,
Hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during this uncertain time. I've tried to put my "social distancing" efforts to good use by wrapping up the first mission of a trilogy campaign I'm working on. I could use a few testers, if any of you can spare some time to help. See below for a few screenshots.

I'd also love to get a Garrett impersonator voice actor to do about 60 seconds worth of briefing dialogue.
If you can help me out, drop me a PM or post down below. Thanks!

Thanks Gloria! Welcome to the team :) I'll PM you when I've got a testing page ready to go.

Great news! Are you releasing them separately?

If you want i can also test your mission.

I can beta-test too, but are you aware there is a beta-tester blacklist ? You might want to consult it. ;)

What blacklist?
Where is it held?
Who maintains it?
If you are on it how can you have your name removed from it?
There shouldn't be any such list, this is a small community and blacklisting people from beta testing shouldn't happen under any circumstances. Of course there are good and not so good beta testers but even those testers can pick up issues that need fixing.
If an author and a beta tester do not get along then that author won't ask them to beta test another one of their missions, but putting a person on a blacklist is not only removing potential beta testers from a small pool of people it is also likely to drive more people away from this community.
For years authors have asked other authors to ask who is good and reliable or posted requests on the forum, that's how it should be, after all it's worked well that way for 20 years.

I didn't know there was a blacklist for beta testers, i never had real issues with my betatesters, i had some who never found time to test fully my missions for lack of time or other reasons, but i would never add their names to a blacklist. It may happen that these people in question may find now the time to do an excellent testing. Also as humans people should have the right to make mistakes and be given a second chance. Even i as beta-tester i find myself not doing an exemplar testing sometimes in comparison with other missions i tested, it depends on many factors. Blacklist is not a good ethic and i agree with Fortuni it may lead people to feel unwelcome and quit the community.
