Hi all,
I'm nearing completion of my first ever FM and could use some testers. Let's call it somewhere between an alpha test and a beta test. The mission is complete in the sense that it is entirely playable (at least, on my machines) but still needs a little cosmetic polish. And perhaps there are technical issues I have yet to catch.
I have very little technical sophistication vis-a-vis DromEd, so I'm hoping to have at least one or two testers who are proficient DromEders themselves, in case technical issues come up. Full disclosure: I might require a bit of handholding.
A few notes:
-The mission required NewDark 1.25
-The mission is huge (~400 megs) and I have no idea why. It's not a particularly ambitious mission, in terms of size or complexity.
-The mission is designed to be played with HDMOD installed, but it should be playable (if not enjoyable) without it.
-I have no idea how best to get my mission to testers (I understand there are testing forums, but I've no idea about any of this).

Congrats on getting to this stage! It's great to see another new author around here.
Most people upload to a site like Google Drive or Dropbox to share with testers. Also, I'll be happy to look at the ZIP and figure out if it can be made smaller, although I don't have time to test it myself at the moment other than that.

Welocme to our community, for which thief is this mission for? i can test your mission if you want, but right now i´m in vacances in Portugal, and only within two weeks i´ll be back at home, if then you still need testers i´m avaliable, i´m a dromer as well but i don't dominate totally the program.
it's good to have new authors :D

My first round of testers did a great job, catching several [hopefully all] of the little technical issues (Thanks, John and Gloria!!!!). They also helped me get a better understanding of the pitfalls with my puzzles. I've revised my mission accordingly, and would like to get a second group of testers. I'd like a couple sets of fresh eyes (ones that haven't seen the puzzles before) so I can get an honest sense of whether my revisions helped. If you want more info before committing, send me a PM.
Anyone free to test next week? (Pedro, since you were traveling, I'm lumping you into this second round of testing, if that's alright with you :) Hope you had a great vacation!)
