I have the both FU1 and FU2 (no I am not abusing you) manuals. Are you after something specific I could look up for you? I'd prefer not to have to scan the whole thing as it is around 100 pages (FU2 manual is around 300).
Thanks. The most important thing is the development information that I'm pretty sure is in the manual. I found this quote from it in a GamesFirst review:
"It's early morning, and you're the first one out on the airfield. You can smell the damp grass, feel the wind coming off the mountains. You're ready to hit the air. Flight Unlimited began with our dissatisfaction with the state of the art in PC flight simulators. As far back as 1992, we started looking for new ways to fly on the PC. Seamus Blackley, a physics expert and experienced pilot, had just been hired on at Looking Glass Technologies, and he was well placed to see where the current simulators fell short of what they could be. Both sessions over lunch at the shopping mall turned into serious ideas, which turned into the Flight Unlimited project."
If there's any other development info along these lines in the FU1 manual, it'd be great if you could fill me in.

Ah ok. Your quote is part of the 3 page introduction. The manual contains a page at the end of each chapter (or most chapters) which has some information like that. I'll try and scan them for you over the next couple of days. The rest is pretty much "How to fly and do cool shit" complete with diagrams and references.

Any status update?

Gah! Sorry, I have been caught up with holiday stuff and have not look at the manual yet. If I do not get it done in the next couple of days I'll at least type up the introduction which is pretty much the only part that has any mention of development info. The other pages I mentioned, upon closer inspection, are more along the lines of "in Flight we tried to make blah blah realistic" and then goes on about how real world flying works. I'll still try to scan them though if I can.

I understand, and that sounds good.

I ended up buying the manual, so you won't need to scan it. Thanks anyway.
