I wanna help @Hit Deity's question about FMs where difficulty radically changes the level instead of just enemy placement/objetives, but i also forgot the name of the FM in my memory.
Its a FM where your going to a mountain town/monastery thats overrun with undead, heres a few memorable things:
- Big Safe/Vault room at a plaza thats near the start of the mission. It requires a password that you can only get by playing all 3 difficulties, each difficulty has a clue scroll to a part of the password. This is probably the biggest memorable thing.
- Each difficulty changed where you started in the mission, with a common playable hub area.
- Some of the starting locations, you could see in the distance normal human guards patroling the outskirts of the town Garrett came from (this are is non playable, you just see it from the cliffside).
- Dusk purple sky, mountain side location with lots of trees and vegetation before you get to the first buildings.
- Each difficulty gave you oportunity to explore different buildings/areas of the town, i believe each difficulty also had a radically different final objective tied to the new areas your going to (mostly stealing different relics, i believe).
- This i am not so sure, but i believe each difficulty also gave you different starting kit, some more focus on fighting against all undead and some focused on sneaking.

Inverted Manse was a great FM. Thanks for the reminder that it changes dramatically on each difficulty. I had forgotten that part.

A couple of years ago I found this Thief 2 FM. It did not feature any combat or stealth, just exploration and puzzle solving, and saw you exploring a school or academy at night. I remember the story being that your daughter went missing at this school, and you find out there are ghosts and demonic rituals and stuff through apparitions and readables. Any ideas?

This is CNSD, The Game! by leconbras. I was a beta-tester and remember he made the mission unavailable for download shortly after it was released. Here's a short thread - (

Hello everyone,
today a certain fan mission came to mind. Unfortunately, I can't give you guys or girls any precise description. It was a sort of city mission, but rather not so vertical (not one of the well-known rooftop missions). Can't remember whether it was Thief Gold or 2 either :-/ ... anyway, I saw this mission in a playthrough video by some German youtube guy some years ago. What I remember was that the city was rather well-lit and had interesting routes and places (factory and stuff). That's all I can remember ... haha whoever identifies the correct mission (or the yt video) from my rubbish so-called description shall win an oscar? :joke::D

Was it a "City" or "Village"? In other words, tall buildings or mostly houses?
Did it have zombies or not?
Gonna guess the classic "Autumn in Lampfire Hills"

That mission now is not available publicly, so you will need to allow PM messages in your forum profile and start asking around for it ;)
