I'm working on some new mushroom objects, and want to use the Mush*.gif files bundled in the Thief Enhancement Pack 2.0 alpha as the basis for some new textures.
Before I start working on them, I want to ask the creator's permission (and want to be able to credit them), but unfortunately NV has no record of who made them, so does anyone know who the creator was?

I found the same files in the EP2.crf file also in my obj\txt16 folder so I must have downloaded them from somewhere before they were added to EP2. I'm diligently trying to locate their source.

I have the vague notion that I might have made them myself out of random pictures from the internet, but it's been so long ago that I have no memory of doing so.
As for before the EP2 - they were in the original EP too. :)

Yep and that may be why they are in my obj\txt16 folder. After reviewing the files at thiefmissions I noticed the instructions said to copy all of the files to that folder. :)
I couldn't find them anywhere except for EP, EP2, and Jason's site. :p

I hear that the original shroom maker went through several versions before settling on the current version. Having a classical education, the rejected versions were named alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon all the way up through lambda. It was only when the mu version was finished that the shroom maker was satisfied. And that is why, to this day, all shrooms are more properly called mu shrooms.
