looking for two or more parts of missions that ,you must have item from first mission in order to complete something from a later mission
example is horns of canzo 1 and 2 you got to get some computer chip card in mission 1 and use it in mission 2
are there any other missions where finding a item in one mission is needed in another mission?
just looking for a bit more game play in my thief fan missions in 2017

In my Love Story V Part 1 some items are needed in Part 2.

The Mirror of Return by PsymH is divided into three parts. A certain item from Part 1 starts an optional sidequest in Part 2, while several items from both Part 1 and Part 2 are used to complete Part 3.

It's both.

IIRC the Ruins of Originia campaign has something like this. At the very least there should be a "loot bag" item that just sat there in your inventory and tallied up your swag through the first 3 missions.

It's an optional thing, but in Broken Triad mission 1, you can get an object from the tombs that will help you access an area in mission 2.

what do you think of the idea of having something from a earlyer mission used to do something in later missions?
i wish it was done more
of course last night i replayed "the mirror of return and for the life of me i could not find the letter for part 2,but ended up finishing mission also still only seen that guy in mission 2 one time a super long time ago ,also forgot how to access the cave you come out of in mission 2 next to the river, great mission, just think more missions at least give something harder do you even if optional makes the mission a bit better
thank you all for help

What exactly one calls "having an item from a mission before" may vary a bit, even if you don't count the obvious - you almost always keep your blackjack with you.;)
In "Thief", you obtain all the magic talismans to open the cathedral's main entrance, so you obviously have them for more than one mission. They're not all of them in you inventory at the time, though.
In "Ruins of Originia", you obtain the Gem of Oldorf in the first mission, and will keep it for several other missions, until you find the Gem's "siblings" and use all of them later on.
In the "Keeper of Infinity II" campaign, you can obtain some special loot purses in the first mission and carry them over to the second mission where you will need at least one or two of them. You can also find purses in the second mission, but the exact number of purses you carry at the end of the first mission will be in your inventory at the start of the second mission. Furthermore, you keep a mage's staff and two keys you got in the first mission. One of the leys is used in the second mission (it's the one unlocking your hotel room), the other one turns out not to be needed in the second mission - but in a third or fourth one, most likely.
Then there's "Calendra's cistern" (a single mission) for "Thief" and its sequel, "Calendra's legacy" (a campaign), for "Thief 2". You obtain a relic, the Cylix of Jotul, in the first mission and steal it from your thief pal in the second in order to deliver it to some shady Hammerite bishop. That's when the shit hits the fan and you get more things to do than you planned before.:ebil:
Something similar happens in "All Torc" and its sequel, "Stones and Glass Houses". Garrett steals some gems in "All Torc" and tries to sell them in "Stones and Glass Houses".
In the "Keeper of the Prophecies" campaign, there is a mission where one can obtain a readable concerning a spreading disease. I think Garrett carries it over to the following mission. There might also be a pocket watch which Garrett (theoretically) carries around with him until he uses it for some special purpose involving a kind of time travel later on.
In the late Lady Rowena's campaign "The seven Sisters", the player obtains some holy seeds in one mission and, according to my notes, has to use some of them in the following mission.
While going through "T2X: Shadows of the Metal Age", Zaya, the female protagonist of that campaign, has to obtain some artifact called the "Orb of St. Basmus" from an undead-infested graveyard, then secretly place it among smugglers in order to get the Hammers to attack the unsuspecting smugglers. Later on, Zaya once again visits the undead to steal another artifact, "The scales", which she will lose afterwards, then get it again in the following mission. Finally, she uses it in that mission to complete a task. (Technically, however, these "scales" are not identical in both missions, but that's only a concern for anyone looking into it with DromEd.)
In nicked's campaign "Sturmdrang Peak", Garrett picks up a letter in the first mission and still has it in the second one. He then obtains some weapons and other gear, and will carry them with him until the end of the campaign. If the player cheats by pressing CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-END in the second mission before getting his gear, the campaign cannot be completed because two of the items in that gear are the lockpicks, which are needed later on. And last but not least, Garrett collects some pieces of crystal during several of the missions, and these will be used together in one of the later missions. I think the pieces are not really in Garrett's inventory at this time, though.
In Ricebug's small campaign called "Heretic", Garrett can snatch a blackjack near the end of the mission, which he will have in the following mission as well. However, if the player does not take the blackjack in the first mission, Garrett will nevertheless have it in the second. Thus, technically Garrett loses his blackjack at the end of the first mission and obtains a new one before the beginning of the second mission.

There's more than just the key card in HoC II: the dragons claw.
There are several different items in the first level that come in handy in the second level. grappling arrows and graduation cap and key card and maybe others I didn't find?
