Under the "pseudonym" OtherSide Entertainment...
I know it's a bit of a stretch, but the closest thing to the truth. Sure there isn't going to be a Thief game from them, not now, but in the future, I'll make sure of it (no I wont, but I wish).
:D

We've had a few "reboots" of various game series. Perhaps they could make the first "System Restore" where they restore the series to the "restore point"of Thief 3, and then make a game set in the original universe with the trappings and great factions that there were.
A prequel maybe. After all Garrett was thieving before the Dark Project.

I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility of OSE doing a Thief title. Heurath negotiated a long time to get the rights to reboot Underworld (minus the Ultima name) and if EM decides it doesn't want to pour more money into the Thief franchise at some point, OSE would be the obvious choice to sell it to.

Thanks, that helped me :)

We'll know more after the Kickstarter at any rate. If the game is successful, a more thiefy game is probably not out of the question.
Personally, I'd like to see something new, though, but whatever they want to make, I'd be on board.

It's not Looking Glass, it's just one guy ATM.

It's more than one guy.

Joining me is an incredible team of developers, who will be introducing themselves over the coming weeks. Some worked with me on the original Underworlds, along with Looking Glass favorites like System Shock and Thief. Others contributed to more recent classics including Deus Ex and BioShock Infinite. We have deep understanding of the genre, and share a passion for bringing Underworld back.
They are currently a small team but are hiring additional help.

I think Greg LoPiccolo, Tim Stellmach and Eric Brosius are still working in a company in Massachusetts, where OSE is also located.

Brosius and LoPiccolo are still at Harmonix, I believe. But in addition to Paul Neurath (who started both LGS and OSE), ex-LGSers Tim Stellmach and Steve Pearsall are working at OtherSide, along with a few other people. Warren Spector is apparently consulting. This is all being discussed over in the Underworld forum.
