*bump*
Get back up there you.

In what way, exactly, does this dead thread deserve bumping?

Didn't half the old LGS crew go to the same uni or something? If a tech publisher isn't that interested an academic one might be; -some Boston university they all went to- Publishing perhaps. 'course they're likely to give that gig to someone associated with the institution somehow...
If Cringley can find interest in broad brush stuff about computers, more specific topics aren't far away. Strikes me more as something people read as important history instead of on the button, big story kind of stuff (which is where I'd slot an Id book, for example). If there were big scandals and ludicrous excess like Wizards of The Coast or Ion Storm I'm sure publishers would jump all over it ;)

Stitch666, figure it out.

One might assume you have better things to do than bump a thread from last September.
This topic has already run its course; tacking a few more votes on it won't make the book any more likely.
Now we simply wait and see.

I would just now like to state for the record that I was the first person to vote no.

You trend-setter, RBJ!

If your going to point out people bumping threads from when they started Stitch666... why not just complain about every else who posted to it? In fact, why not just complain about everyone who ever posts a reply to a thread? Wait... why stop there? Let's all be negative about life & complain about anyone that even starts a thread? Yeah... that's the ticket. :p
I might understand your rudeness Stitch666 if the last post before mine had actually been in september sometime & no others had bumped this thread at all. But it was actually this month just about 8 days before mine... so go soak your head.

You are overreacting, Nedan.

I might understand Stitch's rudeness IF THERE WAS ANY.
"You are overreacting, Nedan" sums up just about everything he's ever said. Ever.
