Definitely! Looking Glass was one of the more interesting game developers out there, and a well detailed book about them would be greatly appreciated IMO.

Hey, I'd buy it!
BadNacho on 10/10/2002 at 12:19
I would buy that in a second! I could have my LGS shrine with all my game boxes and the book.:p

No offense, but can this thread go bye-bye now? It's been rotting here for 4 days and hardly strikes me as "important" any more.

This book would be like a bible to me. Ultima Underworld is one of the best games I have ever played, and Thief rules!..
...But most of all because TTLG deserve it.:thumb:

Well, Grover, somehow I missed it and just now voted. Probably because I don't visit COMM CHAT! :p Glad it was still noticeable and votable. So, there.
I agree, twisty, but it's all we've got, so cookie-based it is. (and what's wrong with cookies? Are you a Pop-Tart man? j/k)
I'd like to read it.

With 403 votes... will the book be published now? Any updates?
(I didn't really go through all the 4 pages of this thread... :cheeky: )

Just voted yes. I would definitely like to have it especially if there was a lot of full-page concept art and other images.
Maybe I should pay more attention to the IMPORTANT and POLL threads now and then. Sorry it took so long. Everyone should vote, whether it be yes or no.

Computer games are so much bigger than anyone thought they would be ten years ago, and a written tribute to Looking Glass would be the best way to spread the word.
I'd most definitely buy that book
