I was finished with this first episode and loping along the lawn just west of the front entrance, heading towards the cemetary, when all of a sudden a floating lantern just appeared out of thin air directly in front of me. I smacked into it, blinked a couple of times, then ran around it.
The guard didn't see me, despite the fact that for a moment, I was completely lit up. I ran on, and just before entering the outdoor corridor cemetarywards, I looked back: the lantern was still there, just floating happily in the air, looking nonchalant, nobody holding it.
What the -- ?!

That spot was where the guard with the lantern was "put in the world" so to speak (no techy-type words for me...damned allergies); I've had this happen in several other missions with lantern guards. Also, if you KO the kitchen servant who is carrying a wooden spoon, you'll eventually run into the spoon in the kitchen.

A Visit to Lord Ashton?" I actually found it
fun until got to the fountain. Then it started to suck. There are a few little coins wedged too far back for me to reach by any form of leaning. I can't get to the coins without revealing myself and making Lisa and Corporal Shepherd seeing me. Suggestions, anyone? One coin is visible on the far right edge of the screen. The other is hidden under that patch of grass.

I need to know how to get
[SPOILER]into the library secret passage entrance in Lord Ashton's... pretty please. I vaguely remember something about the windows, but can't figure it out at present.

I have searched high and low for a switch but methinks I have either missed some key hint or the hint to that entrance is very "subtle" or non-existant. As always I am grateful for any help recieved.

Is this about a T1 or T2 mission or an FM? If it's an FM, I'll need to shift this over to the correct forum but I haven't played the OMs in so long, I can't remember if a Lord Ashton crops up in them or not. :o

by Christine Schneider. I tried to find a hint in the hints foum but had search
problems (for some as yet undetermined reason I usually have search problems with ttlg).

I thought that it was probably the FM but I wanted to make sure before I shifted it. Anyway, as far as I can recall, there's no secret in the Library in "A Visit to Lord Ashton's."
The search function seems to be working for me, by the way.
