Thanks for the reply M, i'll try those areas

EDITED:
Had the same problems.. only 60XX loot. Tried the places discussed
Nugget and dice aren't worth much, most of the loot is in the secret passageway off of the place with the two safes, about 2000 worth
Mechlean -
It's a very tiny lever, down near the bottom on the right hand side. It's quite hard to see.
well i just played this mission made by christine. I think not enough people have heard of it.
this isnt really a long review, but i just thought i would let everyont know that it is pretty fun and you should try it. Im a seasoned player of fan missions, and i enjoyed this one.
it is big, a huge mansion. has many custom items and cool scenes. very elaborate... the vault has TONS of gems, the kitchen is stocked with pots. things like this make it seem very cool and realistic. even has some humor
a little tricky at times, but enough to make you happy when you find out the answer to a problem. the atmosphere is good. Ive seen better atmosphere in other missions, but it does a good job and plays cool music at times. The architecture is good but sometimes not unique. no groundbreaking use of geometry, but the sheer size of the mansion and grounds makes up for this. wha ti mean is that it is very logical, but this is also good ina way cause i didnt even need a map (which there isnt, so what a convenience) also roof access=cool. There is good use of textures to make things look like they are supposed to (stone for the outside, wood and marble inside, etc)
nothing really to complain aobut... except sometimes garret blurts out some comment in german, which is funny. The mission was originally in german, but all text was translated so it is totally playable. Also it would be nice if there was more than one way to solve a few of the problems. Sometimes i wanted to get further but had to wait to find a key. It would be cool to be able to bash/explode a door, or to use rope arrows/etc to solve things multiple ways, and to find unique ways to enter a new area.
and it is just a good mansion mission. doesnt have much groundbreaking scripting, or things, but we cannot expect every new mission to be as groundbreaking as T7C. The mission uses the base capabilites of the thief2 engine very well. It also incorporates cool new ideas from several other missions, so you will recognize many things but use them in a new way. It does have some cool stuff, like guards with shields, although they only can be held properly by guards. There is also a cool new door model.
a fun heist :D:D
now i am off to play part 2 and 3 of this campaign
good job christine!

Christine's levels are great in my opinion!
Lots of warm food, easy to ambush guards and of course...
TONS of loot up for grabs!:cheeky:
spoiler: watch out for the guards 'sparring partner' in the training room!

Wow! Great mission! I coudln't find all of the loot, though (and I just checked the other posts). I am missing close to 4K. I know that I missed one of the coins in the pool (I just couldn't grab it). The stats indicated that I only pickpocketed 4 out of 14. I have my settings to "autosearch bodies," and I always pick up everyone I blackjack. I only noticed a twice that I snatched something off of someone I blacjacked. Still, I wonder if perhaps the shields (which were ingenious, by the way) were getting in the way (I actually manajed to "pickpocket" a shield). Or, perhaps there was treasure in the cemetery that I did not get because I only went in there after I had completed all other objectives. A little help, please.
I also noticed that my rope arrow did not work. Has anyone else had this problem?
Nightwalker on 15/7/2002 at 02:10
My rope arrow worked in this mission. There's a lot of hidden loot in this mission. I have a complete loot list, if you want it. Just send me an e-mail. :)
Pickpockets only count if you do it while the AI is awake, so once you've blackjacked them, it doesn't count.

Thanks, Nightwalker. I'll just go back and give it another try after I'm done with the contest missions. About the blackjacking, I just meant that I had not come up with 14 bodies with anything on them; and I took out everybody. I'm sure that there must be some hidden places I didn't find.

I'm playing a Visit to Lord Ashton's on hard (I think) and I've completed all objectives, except for locating the golden skull. Anyone have any clue as to where I might look?
Thanks.
Up on the roof garden, there's a practice room with a treebeast in it. You need to look in there. Have a close look at the night sky first! :D
