OK, I've searched
the lodge till my eyes are crossed, but I still can't spot the rosary. Please help.

I'm a bit puzzled that you can't find them. Are you sure you're in Lord Ashton's lodge? They are in the middle of the ceiling beam but not hard to spot once you rope arrow up high enough to see the top of the beam.

Bufford's lodge :erg: . I did find it though, it just required
going back a little farther to get to Ashton's lodge.Thank's NW, as always.

oh, and about that torch behind the apothecary's tower, in the garden--what does that do? don't tell me it opens the gate to the garden, cuz that wouldnt make any sense, you have to be already IN the garden to frob the torch...

The answer is in the posts that I pointed out to you. The torch opens the door in the garden that leads to the torture chamber where you find the torc.

a) the Serpentile Torc
b) Lord Ashton's rosary
