Hi,
I am just playing the Lord Ashton Series and have nearly completed A Winter's Night. Unfortunately, i am still missing 50 loot. I used Nightwalkers loot list that is linked on Christine's webpage, but even using that list I wasn't able to find the missing loot.
I know that it is rather difficult to identify missing loot without any further information, especially with an amout like 50 that is VERY common, but still:
maybe anyone had the same problem? or maybe one of the entries in the loot list is not very specific and someone noticed that? or maybe there are different versions of the FM?
anyways, if anyone had a hint for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Leaving a mission without all the loot always gives me such a bad conscience ;)
Regards,
rh

I suggest playing it again and make your own loot list as you go. That´s how I do it when I really want to find it all. Make detailed notes about where things are and their value. After you´re done, compare your list with Nightwalker´s and check off each entry on the lists that match, both in value and location.
That should solve it.

If there's an error on the list and you find it, I'd really appreciate it if you let me know so I can fix it. :)

yes it did :) i finally had the time. now it seems there is a small mistake in the loot list:
if i am not mistaken, where it says
Code:
Bedroom Gold wine bottle 50g 395
it should (as in the walkthrough) rather say:
Code:
Sitting room Gold wine bottle (under table next to armoire) 50g 395
finally i can go on to the next level. great mission BTW. thanks christine for the levels and nightwalker for the lists :thumb:

I see what you mean. I believe when the list was converted into html, the 2 columns went out of sync a bit. We'll get it fixed up. Thanks very much for bringing it to our attention! :)

This is a brilliant series of FMs. Don't think I have ever played this particular one. That being said, I do need some help in finding the diamond at the jewelers.
Have frobbed every place I can think of.
Anyone?? Thanks!

Upstairs there's a bedroom where you find an invisibility potion in a chest. Flip a tiny lever on the wall under the small table in the corner and the bed moves out from the wall. Behind you'll find the diamond. I think that's what you're looking for.
