I've yet to play the first game, but it looks like some nice old school shoot 'em up fun. I'd love to experience the now infamous (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/unskippable/394-First-Place-Unskippable-01-Lost-Planet) utterly incomprehensible story.

If you haven't played the first game, why do you care about a sequel? :confused:

Anyway, the PC version (LP:Extreme Condition Colonies Edition) is decent enough, and has some bonus material. Worth checking out if it is cheap.

Also I am interested in playing the first game eventually. It's not like I've the played first, hated it and then created a thread about the sequel regardless. Actually I would've posted the news under those circumstance as well, see first paragraph.
