Where's John?
I've been all over the place, completed every objective except the optional one and those relating to John and the city gate. I was in the hammer temple, knocked out everything there,
frobbed 5 skulls I found that lit up little squares, found a secret door I can't open in the wall below
, went back all through the temple and searched all the areas (except anything that might require a rope arrow) and still can't find him! I read about a reference to
a cage,
but nothing like it has appeared. Did I do something wrong?

redleaf : John should be in a cell
very near the (high-up) doors seperating the "fiery" temple from the outdoor area with all the ramps & the frobbable skulls (frobbing them should open the cell door). It's maybe 20 'feet' from those doors, on the inside, down a very short ramp leading directly away from those doors.
If the cell, or John, is not there, something's probably very wrong. Could a significant piece of your copy of the map be missing? :wot: :weird:

Thanks John for yet another fine addition to the Love Story series. My favorite moment was watching cry-baby Jack being escorted back to await his trial (which I'm guessing we'll see or hear about in your next FM).
Actually went back and played the other four (including prequel) before playing this one and couldn't help noticing how you've grown into one of DromEd's Great Ones.

Hmm. It won't let me download this. I beta tested this for John, so I'd like to see what changes he may have made. I thought about throwing some helpful hints, but I'm thinking some things were changed from Beta and I may tell the wrong thing. I'll try and download this again later or tomorrow.

Found him!
I had been searching all along the walls, avoiding the shooting bits of fire, and the center of the ground floor. I walked back up to the double doors, turned around, turned up the gamma, and golleeeee, there he was! But when I shot him with a water arrow, nothing happened. So I went back to a previous save and shot him again. This time an objective ticked off and he stood up, but kept snoring and wouldn't move. So I bj'd him with the idea of carrying him out of there, but that made me lose the game. Third time was the ticket out of there.
A messy win for me. Missed one secret (found the other 2 while searching for John), and 500 loot :tsktsk:

Thanks DreamWalker :) Yes Cry-Baby Jack will be in the next mission even though it won't be part of the Love Story series. It's really funny to make him cry out loud, and then after a while his cries calm down. Bang on something metal nearby and listen to him cry out loud again. :laff:

Thanks for another well put together mission John . It had that right balance of having to find things , but not having to stop the game and visit the forums to find an answer . Good job on atmosphere and nice smooth game play . Having John run back to the city gates at the end worked great for me , no stumbling around trying to find an area I forgot about and a good laugh to boot . As my first mission played start to finish in Linux , I'll remember this one . :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
