I have had complete success so far . There are a few small T2 bugs , but very minor ones . My Thief1 install was almost flawless with no lgntforce command needed and only one in game glitch . The reason why I tried this , besides sheer curiosity , was to get a working Thief1 install - something impossible with nvidia drivers for quite some time now .The funny thing is that my Linux nvidia drivers have given me the best Thief1 install ever . I don't want to hijack the thread away from Johns excellent mission , so when or if the mods give me thumbs up I'll post my install process .

Where is the Barrel to reach the Gamblig Den at the End of the river.......I also can´t find dewdrop and I don`t have a clue where to bring the invalides ???? So please give me a big big hint !!!! :confused: :confused:

If you go North from the electric eye outside the police station, you should find several barrels, you can't pick them up, you have to push them, it takes a while.
"dewdrop" is also in this part of town.
I never did anything with the "invalids". finished the mission without them.

I am missing something big-time..The door by the "Hit mine my brother" statue
in the back of the hammer place has no way to open that I can see. I have the back door key. I have been to the torcher chamber..the crypt..the kitchen..the servent quarters with the dead cry baby, the lofty place over the front door and can't figure out what to do next...Help !!

I know this has been explained ..about the skulls and stuff but I only see 3 skulls..one inside and one inside the front door ... and the unfrobable one by the back door. Any help would be apreiciated.

OK I'm now a bit confused by which back door you mean. Have you done the statues hitting bit yet
You need to do that bit first to open up the next bit.

I take it since I found John I need to find 3 more skulls before I can frob the one by the cage? Whats so important about this John guy anyhow that the apes seen fit to give him his own special gage and everything ? :/
