Why shouldn't it?
Because there's nothing wrong with it, quite the opposite.

I'd compare the majority of this thread to the "leaking oil" toilet humour joke in Cars 2, personally.
Sure, but roadside wrecks still turn heads, whether you're sensitive about guilty pleasures or not.

Seriously Ko0k - massive trolling action there, dude. Those of us who appreciate Pixar films (a large number of adults, btw) were discussing how the new one compares to the standing library. If you haven't seen any of them, what, really, do you feel you have to contribute to the conversation? It's obvious from every post in this thread that you're talking out of school because you view Pixar films as being no different from Snow White, The Smurfs, or Scooby Doo. The reason adults discuss these films is specifically because they have typically set themselves apart from normal children's fare. If you don't have that basic experiential knowledge from at least viewing a few Pixar films, you can't really speak to it, can you? Not trying to prod you, I just don't see any value in your posting. The fact that you simply lump Pixar flicks in with "other kid movies" speaks volumes to begin with.
Also, for the record, I don't appreciate the stereotype of kid's behavior in a theater. If you've never seen a kid's movie in a theater, how do you know they act that way? I've been going to kid's films since Toy Story came out 15 years ago, and not once, not a single time have I ever experienced what you're talking about. I think you must have seen that on a sitcom or an SNL skit, because it's not the reality. It is however, a common stereotype among people who don't like kids to begin with, or are jealous of those of us who've found someone wiling to make them with us. Just sayin' ;)

No, I don't watch Pixar movies or other kids' movies *in the theater*, but I did watch all their films on DVD, a couple of which I actually own.
Yeah, their track record has been pretty impressive, and it is to be expected that their films strike a chord with kids and adults alike.
Speaking of track record, I do have a tendency to look at the measurable aspects when it comes to evaluating movies, and this time whatever point I intended to make got buried under shit, a lot of it admittedly mine.
As for kids being the way they are in the theater, mind you that you haven't lived in the movie capital of the world where every stereotype applies.
(edit) Wait a minute... Oh, please... I'm as jealous of you as I am of someone who forgot to take the pill or wore a condom that was stapled to the wall.

After reading the entire thread, I'm still wondering why people hate each other over a thread about a movie. Or maybe the thread is an excuse for them to hate each other?

You got it all wrong. We all just hate Ko0K.
ow my face :(

Ko0K's one amongst the gallery of volatile, over-sensitive lackwits with enough spare time and energy to nurture a long-standing grudge from some point in the past where we traded words. I barely even remembered the last time we crossed paths until he brought it up. He's using less 'fuck's this time, though I'm sure that's about to change.

Sure, this isn't the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132027&page=3) first time I "traded words" with you two dynamic butt buddy duo, but you actually think I spend months between hiatuses thinking about some forgettable bullshit you two jokers spewed out? One of the first things I do when I come out of the woodwork is search my posting history to catch up.
Don't flatter yourself. I don't know or give enough a damn about you two to hold a grudge, but I do have a problem with your bullshit and...whatever it is that the other brainless mush does (apparently yelling "Get out" repeatedly being one of them). By the way, seeing how you two seem to be a package deal everywhere on this forum, I allege that you two are in fact one and the same.
Oh, where are my manners... Almost forgot.
"Fuck"
