Oh yeah, definitely. But it's important to remember that back in his day, most white middle-upper class people were. Although yes, he was racist, it's what he was raised to believe.
Anyways, I have to say that I though that Bonehoard was also extremely lovecraftian.
And Dark Corners was really good. The first thing that struck me when I played it was how similar it was to T:TDP
