Well. It seems you're the one that's been inconvenienced all these months. What happened after your last post in this thread that you had to wait so long to get back to the topic and start a new thread as though this one hadn't been made? :D
Anyway, it's too bad the walls are metal, too, since you can fire the rope arrows into the walls if they weren't:

Seeing these screenshots just reminded me how fantastic this mission is.
How could mission textures (along with their properties) possibly flip? If it is a bug, it is the weirdest one.

Mage Towers happens to be one of my favorite missions. I never found it boring. :weird:

Well, jtr7, The problem was that I have been without a computer for a while and I thought that I had posted before but I wasn't sure. I looked for the thread that I had posted in and couldn't find it, so I posted again. Look guys, I'm just an old woman who has been playing games since the dinosaur age of Tandy and their OS and don't know how to do all the screen shot stuff. The Earth tower is supposed to be the second one that you go into and that is where the problem is. Like I said before, my cd is the original one that I bought 10 years ago or more and is probably messed up. But I'll overwrite those files and see if that works.

Thanks for filling in the blanks. It's hard to answer questions when there are more questions piling up on top of them. Sorry for being aggressive about it.
For screenshots:
Press Alt + F10, then press Alt + Tab, open up the install folder, and look for files named dump000.pcx (where the zeros will count up 000, 001, 002, 003, etc., for every time you pres Alt + F10). If you don't have software on your computer that can open it, upload it to mediafire.com and post the link, otherwise, save it as a jpg, and upload it to imageshack.com.
Other than a full reinstall, I have no idea how to fix the problem.

For some reason, I could never get into it. Same thing with one of the other Gold missions though - Thieves Guild (though while I found the Mage Towers to be boring, I found the Guild to be insanity-inducing). Loved Song of the Cavern though.
