its a garbage system.
But what makes it garbage? The fact that it's on console? The fact that you have to pay to play online? (okay, yeah, that's bullshit.) The fact that it's from Microsoft? I get a lot of games and DLC off XBL. Are
they garbage?
And garbage or not, as far as I know you are not twelve and you don't need to sound like it. It's okay to just call it XBox Live and be done with it. Calling it Failbox Live just makes you come off as a (

I wanted to learn to play Magic so just made my own version on Vassal. Getting to play online came along for the ride.

i fail to grasp how this dissident line of questioning is relevant in a magic thread.

would you mind if i PM you a preview of all my posts from here on out? you can be my editor. i will type up a response and include the quote of what im responding to in a PM and you get back to me with notes regarding what i can and cant post. its a bit of a cumbersome solution for an online forum but does it work for you?

Heh, "dissident line of questioning" what the fuck does that even mean? You're the one who used terms like "Failbox Live," then you make a statement like "it's a garbage system" and then cry when you get called out on it?
Just answer the fucking questions. Can you do that for me? Is that within your abilities?

No he doesn't.
PigLick on 16/9/2011 at 04:46
Yes he did, you just dont realize it. Now how about posting something other than telling people how they should be posting.
also why the hell do you to have fag up every thread with stupid nitpicking comments that arent even related to the original topic? I mean seriously dethtoll, seriously.
june gloom on 16/9/2011 at 04:47

Though perhaps that's what MtG has become these days. They're selling pre-packaged copies of tournament winners, aren't they?
They did sell copies of tournament winning decks at one time. Those copies had a different back and border, so they weren't legal for any kind of sanctioned play (and most people would not allow mixing those cards with normal cards for casual play either).
These days they have 3 different types of premade decks, Intro, Event and Duel.
Intro decks are meant for newbies to help them learn deckbuilding.
Event decks are like Intro decks, but for tournament play. They'll hold their own (in the hands of a competent player) in entry level tournaments, but will usually get crushed by a tuned deck.
Duel decks are sets of 2 decks meant to fight each other, they rarely work well when used against anything else.
Magic the Gathering is constantly evolving and trying new ideas, and the art is often great as well (especially for the comming set: (

I think you are tilting at windmills here a bit 'Lick, no thread on TTLG ever stays on topic forever.
