So, I found a spot in level 3 where I can force my way through the ceiling. Once through the ceiling you can pretty much go anywhere you want. And here is the resulting map:

Note that each level appears to be divided into sections. Thus I can't actually see whats in those other sections.

This might not be relevant but I once stuck my head up through the ceiling in the hidden room next to the elevator. Must have been climbing ontop of something I shouldn't.:confused:

Ok, it's at the very top of the waterfalls, where you get your first dagger. Facing the highest waterfall turn 90° right and you will see a bunch of boards leaning against the wall. Run and jump onto the board farthest to the right. Continue pressing forward, croutch, then jump again and you should pop through the ceiling. Without turning, run
backwards a few steps and you should see that you are now on top of the room you were just in. You can also use the map in the book if you get lost since it shows where you are and what direction you're facing. I'll post screenshots later.
I've only found two ways to get back. One is to trigger the fight script. The other is to use the stairs to go to level 2 (I haven't actually tried this but it should work.)

Oh, and the first two times I tired this it just worked. But this time it took couple dozen tries.

Well, I can get my head through the ceiling, but I can't seem to get above. My map doesn't update when I just get my head through either.

Thats what just happened to me.
And, I had to run around the map for an hour to update it. :cheeky:
