Making Thief into a TV series

Greetings noob here. I just got Thief 2 and Thief 3 from ebay a few months ago. So I'm late to this game. However, I found the story and the steampunk/ anachronistic world in this game very interesting. I sometimes wish I had lived in that type medieval/steampunk city instead Chicago. Nuts to this corrupt city. My question for the developers (if they're still around) is have they ever thought of making this game into a TV series or maybe movie series. The game's story and environment is very interesting itself. I would like to learn more about this world, the background of the city, and the civilization and culture. How it's similar and different to our own Medieval past and whatnot. The actors I have an idea for the characters are
Garret = Christian Bale or Ian Somerhalder from the Lost TV series
Victoria= Jordana Brewster (with red eyes and green skin)
Keeper Artemus=Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard)
Keepr Orland=Rip Thorn or Jon Rhys Davies
Lt. Mosley = Mischa Barton
Sheriff Gorman Truart= Marton Csokas (Sir William De Kere in Timeline and Lord Guy de Lusignan in Kingdom of Heaven)
Father Karras=Andy Serkis (Gollum in LOTR)
Lord Gervaisius=John Noble (Denethor II, Steward of Gondor in LOTR)
Deputy Benny, Lt. Hagen, Interpreter Caduca, and others I'm not sure. Thanks for any response I get.

How about making Thief into a Day Time Soap?

or perhaps a Game Show?

"Would you like what's behind double door #2?, or what's in this crate?"

or perhaps a Reality Show?

"Garrett, Garrett! Don't pick up that…" *BOOM* . "Ah well our next player, Benny, is stepping up now"
