More Marvel dick sucking itt because I love to hijack. I -just now- finished watching The Avengers and I loved it, despite not being too thrilled with the trailer. However, it did seem like Iron Man 2.3, but I guess he is the force behind the popularity atm. Especially enjoyed his relationship with Bruce. Also I can watch Scarlett Johansson in that suit whooping ass for.... forever.

I loved how the cloaking device on the ship seemed far more advance than Mr. Tony Stark. Really? Anyone else notice that?

Considering that he knew instantly how to repair the busted prop, it seems safe to assume that the Helicarrier in the film was largely designed by Mr. Tony Stark (same as in the comics).
