Already posted a link to (
http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-ex-mark-of-the-ninja/17-6454/) a Giantbomb QL in the Stealth Games thread but figured this deserved it's own thread. Here's TotalBiscuit playing it at PAX:

Notes:
- coming out on XBox 360 (for 1200 MSbux) and PS3 on Sep 7 (that's tomorrow!). Dev hints that a PC version will probably come out eventually if the console versions sell well.
- dev mentions Thief being an influence several times and laughs politely at every crappy joke TB makes.
- line of sight for the enemy AND the player! Cool!
- grapplehooking around looks like a blast. Controls overall look tight as hell.
I shall certainly be downloading the trial tomorrow.

Yeah, that looks kind of great. I'll be getting the trial too.

Can't find it on UK PSN :(

Seems it's one of those XBox exclusives. Idiots.

It was probably the only way they could get the money to get the game published. So, less "idiots" and more "sound financial decision." Wait 6-12 months.

Oh, I know. I've been on their forum and MS backed them or something.
I'm just :( I don't get to play it.
Mind you, this has led me to Shank 1 and 2 which are on PSN.

Yeah. If you wait a while it'll eventually be ported over. I hate timed exclusives as a consumer but I understand why developers opt for them.

Bought this today, played the first 2 levels. Level 1 is the same one as in the demo so that one wasn't too exciting, but level 2, which had me accending a skyscraper filled with laser-grids and turrets, was really cool. I can't believe how easy it was to get into the control-scheme and flow of the movement. Zipping around with the grappling hook, jumping from roof to lightingfixture, dropping down to dispatch of a guard and then toss his body into a dumpster before jumping into the nearest vent is as graceful as it is effortless. It truly plays like a 2D Arkham Asylum.
