That's a really complicated way of saying it took a selfie for Facebook.

Needs more duckface. Possibly the LOMO look too.

Make a good photo look like it was taken with a shitty disposable camera.
Yes, this is a thing. :erg:

Kolya, the arm is indeed cut off at its base around the first hinge. Look for some compositing in the center left of the picture, at the black and round unit which corresponds to the part numbered 3 in (

The composite is absolutely wonderful and awe-inspiring. And how cool is the fact that all cables are bundled together using knots instead of hi-tech stuff? Proven technology.

Ah yes, I see it now. Well done NASA photoshoppers. :)
Lomo is actually a russian camera brand. One of their cameras (LOMO Compact Automat) gained a bit of a cult following in the early nineties. This camera produces a very colorful, high contrast and often blurry image and is usually used for snapshots, which you may or may not perceive as artistic. The effect can be simulated in Photoshop but always looks the same then, whereas actual lomographies look very different.

Yup. Actual Lomo shots can be quite strikingly beautiful. Unfortunately, most of what the instagram crowd produces are anything but.
