I think your clock is about 2 1/2 years off.

Better than starting a new thread...
@Orfeus21
To get out of the estate, you have to shoot a fire arrow on the left wing of the big metal door outside the mansion. It should open after the explosion! :thumb:
Actually reading the thread before asking is even better. Answer is in the 11'th post

Sorry raetsel, but I had to open this puppy up in Dromed to figure out how to get out. I figured it was the way, and even tried doing what you have to do, but on the wrong door (figures)....
Anyway, hope you don't mind if I spoil it here.
You need to shoot one of the fire arrows you get from Red Death at the
right large door in the cemetery. Not the left, as I did originally before searching the rest of the mission for half an hour... In hindsight, it makes perfect sense since you get the fire arrows from RD right there in front of the doors...
Is the guest with the red hair and white facial makeup a nod to Grant Morrison's "The Invisibles"? I got a chuckle when I saw that guest, and was curious.

Sorry for the necromancy, but I didn't wanna start a new thread either.
I've tried playing this map and I'm having some problems. Whenever Prospero (the guy who walks in circles) goes into the black room, he screams "How dare you!" and everyone dies. I then fail the mission. I've tried avoiding this by blocking him off with the crates in the basement, but he walks right through them eventually. This happens every time I play, no exceptions. And I can't get into the black room either.
Please assist!

Peanuckle: in case you're still waiting for help.
You probably don't have NVScript installed.
I can only agree with everyone here. Great small mission, raetsel :thumb:
Having played the C4 entries, yours would've had a good chance of winning.
Pretty colourful design, plenty of objects to loot, and the intro movie is a nice addition (but a bit blurry though)
Like some others, I had the most trouble finding my way out of the mansion :p
Love the music choices (do I remember one from Tombraider... 3 ?), the variation in party guests and their dances, and how this mission turns from robbing guests into a mystery with a supernatural twist. Interesting background story. You surely did a great job translating the story into a thief mission :D. Did a (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Masque_of_the_Red_Death) little research about it.
Remarkable how much I missed for such a small mission.
Secrets found: 0 out of
2Loot found: 4816 out of
5666Should get back it someday.
A question:
- why is Garrett unaffected by
the gas (as well as one female AI btw)? I hear him cough from time to time, without taking any damage.
Pitty you never released another mission, raetsel.
Can we still expect (
http://www20.brinkster.com/raetsel/thief/current_fm.html) this to be released someday?

She hasn't posted here since 2006, so you may need to email her... knowing you, you already did, though. :D

Nothing wrong with resurrecting old mission threads. The authors likely would never complain to see an old thread about one of their missions come back up to the top of the page, even if only for a couple of days.
It's nice to hear from people from time to time about a mission, and bringing back the original thread gives the author a lift, speaking from personal experience. I'm sure many other authors would agree.:D

excellent mission, took me a while to realise the guests wouldn't attack me, the secrets were very well done that taffin switch just seems to blend in to the wall, if you don't know where they are they're a taffer to find and I wouldn't have thought of using a rope arrow on that bit as it just doesn't like like wood
I too shot fire arrows at the wrong door :nono:
oh well 30 minutes and 30 seconds all secrets and all loot :ebil:
a real shame you never got it into the competition there are some really good ideas and effects in that one
anyone find a use for the box of matches ?
