(

for those who want to catch up on the cheap before the sequel in January.
(7GB download)
The game is worth 5 bucks, unless you're seriously jaded :joke:

That's not helping your case, Chief.
FWIW, Mass Effect is also available as a download from XBOX Live (which I opted for)

At that price, I'm tempted. VERY tempted.
But I'm not sure how Direct2Drive's DRM would work out in this case.
(I have bought one game from D2D, but it was PlanetSide, a game that doesn't really benefit from DRM due to its subscription-based revenue model.)
EDIT: Oh, screw it, I'm buying anyway.

While I found Mass Effect to be overrated, it's still solid fun and most definitely worth $5.
Today it's Mirror's Edge for $5, in case anyone missed the Steam deal.

Ah, so the UK gets different offers. I was wondering about that. Today is The Witcher EE for $20 - not particularly amazing but not bad.
Also: list the ornament games if you figure them out. I couldn't figure out the American car one today (no grand prize drawing for me). Today the UK one is...Majesty? I'm not sure.
Edit: Majesty 2.
Double Edit: Not that I can enter, because it's only open to "legal residents of the United Kingdom." BUMMER.

It's Need for Speed: Shift, Aero.
Will definitely be keeping an eye out for Prototype, Dragon Age and Majesty 2.
