Every time I go to play TDS now, I find myself doing the same thing. I load up a game I saved right after helping Laurel (just post-cradle) - my save game is at the entrance to Stonemarket Proper from Old Quarter.
I'm loaded up on gear because I never use any of it. And I use fire arrows to draw everybody to the central area of Stonemarket Proper (by the Old Quarter entrance.) I hide in the shadows and watch massive gang warefare between the Hammers, Pagans, Chick Thieves, City Watch, and even the citizens. After everybody's dead (or after I kill off the last few). I run to the clock tower and everybody comes back to life. Then I watch it all over again. It's so hilarious to watch the AI get messed up and start picking off innocent bystanders!
You can literally rack up hundreds of shaman and priest staffs lying all over the ground. Plus there's a shop nearby to keep stocking up on stuff - try throwing some mines and oil flasks in for a round.
Great fun! :ebil:

Reminds me of playing GTA III and enabling the two cheats "Pedestrians have Weapons" and "Pedestrians Riot" -- thats funny but also you die very quickly as you can't exactly hide in shadows :P

Sounds like fun. I'll have to try that. I always found it funny when the guards would start beating up on citizens for no reason.
