I`ve always pictured a Max Payne movie to be very much like the excellent movie Sin City in both look and style. I hope they do something along those lines.

This kind of second hand noir has Uwe Boll written all over it. Mark Wahberg's a bit out of his price range though. Step down to Donnie and it's a lock.

the sin city approach would be ok , i think.
go for over-stylized then the dialogue doesn't sound too improper.

sin city would be a bit too much. but if they could get some kind of watercolour filter over it, that could work.

good idea. i loved those snow scenes in the comic intertitles.
