Your assumption was correct. They were both written some time ago along with a couple of stories (some thiefy, some not) that have been posted here and elsewhere.
The post was from my own archives on my computer (and, of course, backup files).
The end result of your "assumption" was incorrect, even if the starting point was not.

es I wouild suggest to the opening poster to actually play the games and not skip the cutscenes since they are pretty much the medium through which the plot is transmitted or at least something like that.
