mantle onto the torch/wall - you can then overlook the 1st bot and alert all 3 with a broadhead for water arrow practice ; or you can mantle up onto the railing and drop down in the safer main area taking only a little damage. The mission wont end even if you've met all other objectives - until you come back out to the gate. If you've other things to do afterwards your only way back out is

i never found a key in the crypts or anything else, only loot, did i miss something,i have 3 talismen where is the air one,i cant get out from the pool area,please help

doug: all talismans are in the outer area near crypt (leave crypt via big door and search carefully whole outer area).

In the first part of the mission there is a gate that looks like it should open. It is next to a pool of water that can't be mantled back out if you go in to get a water arrow. Is there a switch for this or am I wasting my time?

bedwine, I dont think the gate
opens from this side or if it does I couldn't find the switch -- but it can be
opened fom the other side. There is a way in
at the lower end of the big area with the pool .
Backing up a little from the edge of the pool a little before mantling should get you out - I remember I splashed around a while :p
